When a person questions the existence of "true love" with another individual, they might look for signs. Everything about these pieces to me is just beautiful. Even the slight sense of loneliness and nostalgia, the sense of yearning each phrase portrays. One day, I shall recall the scene, I shall lose myself in the past. Roland Barthes came up with the best way to write about love and loss in A Lover's Discourse: Fragments as it is only through fragments that we build our narrative of love and naturally of the self.
